The price for a place in a nursing home is made up of several components. This is stipulated by law. These include the care itself, costs of room and board, and investment costs. This is the basis for the monthly COST, which varies depending on the region and the home.
If residents are unable to cover the costs from their own funds, they can apply for "assistance with care (according to § 61 SGB XII). In principle, every person in need of care is entitled to this assistance.
We understand our house as a place of encounter. Regular devotions in the course of the year play an important role in everyday life and at special events.
Spiritual life is an essential and integral part of our holistic offer. Upon request, we offer pastoral care. Among others, the religious sisters of the Olper Franziskanerinnen, who live in the facility, as well as our pastoral counselor Mrs. Kerstin Struwe and the clergy of the community contribute to this.
The chapel of the home is a centerpiece of the facility. Daily church services, including transmission to the residents' rooms, enable immobile residents to celebrate Holy Mass and to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion on Sundays and holidays.
The GFO Center Drolshagen - Living and Care St. Gerhardus - wants to create a good place to live for its residents.
We work together in a multi-professional team always resident and needs-oriented and have the task, in close consultation with all other areas of the house, the quality of life of the residents to preserve / maintain and if necessary to increase. In order to achieve this, a variety of group and individual activities are carried out. In addition to recurring activities, we orient ourselves to the seasons and the church year.
